May – Skin Cancer Awareness Month: Staying Safe In The Sun
Skin Cancer Awareness Month: Shareridge
May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, a crucial time to raise awareness about the dangers of skin cancer and the importance of early detection and prevention. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the world, but with proper precautions and regular check-ups, it can often be prevented and successfully treated. During this month, we emphasised the need for sun safety and eduction about the risks associated with prolonged sun exposure.
In support of Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Shareridge is taking steps to highlight the importance of this issue within the community. As part of their initiative, Shareridge has produced an informative video featuring John Maughan, who visited our construction sites offices all over the country including this visit to Bagnalstown, Co. Carlow. The video showcases practical tips for sun safety on construction sites, where workers are often exposed to harsh sun conditions for extended periods.
By taking proactive steps during Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Shareridge aims to make a lasting impact and encourage everyone to prioritise skin health. Remember, protecting your skin today can prevent serious health issues in the future. Let’s all do our part to spread awareness and stay safe under the sun.
